Tom grew up in Las Vegas, NV area in an era when kids would play in the desert year-round, looked through the tube in flood canals when it was raining, and played sports on the asphalt in front of their home. He is a proud graduate of Brigham Young University with a bachelor of accountancy and master of accountancy (tax emphasis) degrees. And today, he and his wife Amy have four wonderful children that keep them happy and busy—he is even a proud grandpa now. Tom enjoys fly fishing, camping, traveling, smoking meat, and reading in his free time.

Tom is a licensed insurance agent in the states of Nevada, California, Utah, and Arizona. His work background started as a CPA in the ’90s and was in the Las Vegas banking and financial services industry for over 20 years in various capacities such as CFO, corporate controller, tax director, and chief accounting officer. To supplement his profession, Tom joined the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a finance committee chair and treasurer for Communities in Schools of Nevada, and treasurer of the Boy Scouts of America Las Vegas Area council executive board.

Tom enjoys volunteer work and actively participating in his church as well. He currently loves owning and running his own business with his partner and brother Jim, and really relishes working with his WPI family. Tom’s favorite part of the business is to find better solutions for serving customers, assisting work colleagues, and running the business more effectively and efficiently.
